A working memory for your working day

More flow.Less to remember.

Between client switches, documents, and open tabs, time is easy to lose track of. Tidsrum helps you bring the day together, find the right client, and review a suggested timesheet.

FOR DAYS SHARED BETWEEN CLIENTS

Many little things.
One whole working day.

A document here. An email there. A call that lasts longer than planned. Tidsrum gives computer work some context, so you have a place to start when the day needs adding up.

For accountants, agencies, and anyone whose day spans several clients or projects.

FROM SMALL TRACES TO A CLEARER DAY

The day happens.
Time finds its place.

02Suggestions with context

Find the right client

Names and matching phrases help work find its home. If several clients fit, or the evidence is unclear, time stays open for you.

Review and move on

Correct, split, and add what is missing. Then approve the time entries you want to use and export them to CSV.

MORE CONTEXT. LESS CATCHING UP.

The little pieces of work
deserve to be seen, too.

01

Find your way back to the gaps

Small client requests can be hard to remember later. A timeline gives you traces to start from, even when the day took a different path from your calendar.

02

Review instead of reconstructing

Start with suggestions. Adjust the client, description, and billable time. Add meetings and work away from the computer yourself.

03

Understand the time behind a project

Whether you bill by the hour or work for a fixed fee, approved client time helps you see how work is distributed across your projects.

WORKING MEMORY ON YOUR TERMS

Your working day.
Your space.

Tidsrum starts with a simple idea: a tool that helps you remember work should also give you room to choose.

Local. Considered. Yours.

Activity is stored locally

Raw activity stays on your computer. The pilot uses no cloud accounts and makes no AI calls.

No screenshots

App names and window titles provide evidence. Tidsrum stores no screenshots, document contents, or keystrokes.

You choose what goes with you

Only approved time entries are exported. Raw window titles are not included in your CSV.

Room to set your boundaries

Choose apps and titles to skip in new imports. Decide how long activity evidence is kept.

Tidsrum imports from ActivityWatch. Pausing Tidsrum stops importing; ActivityWatch's own collection is managed separately.

A LITTLE MORE TO KNOW

Before you
begin.

What do I need to try it?

This pilot is built for a Mac with Apple Silicon. You also need ActivityWatch, which collects app and window titles locally. On Mac, ActivityWatch needs Accessibility permission to read titles. Screen Recording permission is not required.

Does Tidsrum work on Windows?

The downloadable pilot is for Mac. The technology we use is cross-platform, but a Windows version has not yet been built or tested.

What if a suggestion is wrong?

You can change the client or project, split a period into two, edit the description, or exclude the time. Unclear and conflicting client matches stay unassigned. Nothing becomes an approved entry until you approve it.

Is there AI or Fortnox sync?

The pilot uses rules and your corrections for matching. It makes no cloud AI calls. You can export approved time to CSV; direct Fortnox sync is not included yet.

Are meetings and calls recorded automatically?

The pilot starts from active computer time, so it does not capture all work. Add meetings, calls, and other work away from the computer manually. Overlapping time is not allowed.

How does the first pilot week work?

Add a few clients or projects and start local importing. Spend a short time reviewing at the end of each working day and save a brief reflection. After the week, export a pilot report with matching and review metrics, without client names, window titles, or free-text notes.

START WITH ONE WORKING DAY

A little more clarity when the work is done. And a little less to carry home.

Data choices in the personal pilot

Tidsrum reads app names, window titles, and active time from ActivityWatch on the same computer. No cloud service or AI provider is used for this pilot's analysis.

Local storage

Activity, client rules, and notes are kept in a local SQLite database. It has no separate app encryption; your computer's user account and disk encryption protect the files.

What you choose to keep

Activity evidence is normally kept for 14 days, with 7- and 30-day options. Unapproved activity is then removed. Approved time remains without imported app names and titles. Saved rules and your own descriptions remain.

Two separate choices

Tidsrum's pause and filters apply to imports into Tidsrum. ActivityWatch has its own collection, storage, and settings. Quit or pause ActivityWatch separately to stop its collection.
